Protea Colours, more often known merely as Colours are awarded to members of the National Federation who have excelled in the sport, met certain qualification criteria, compete internationally and have met certain criteria set by SA Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC).
Colours are awarded by the SA Colours Board once the internal processes by Sanaa are met and submitted on recommendation to the Colours Board. No other authority is permitted to issue or award Protea Colours for the sport of archery.
Sanaa maintains a register of all its members who have achieved Protea Colours. Members in good standing who have in recent years represented the country and who have been awarded the highest honour that the country can offer for sporting achievements are shown below.
